Good Reasons to Being Confident in Christ

being confident in christ

Jesus came to set us free from the bondage we found ourselves in since the sin of Adam 🙏🏻.

1 Corinthians 15:22 says:

“For as in Adam all die, so in Christ, all will be made alive.”
1 Corinthians 15:22

trust in jesus christ

When we accept Christ as Lord over our lives, we live better lives full of the abundance of God. We have eternal life, and we can look forward to an eternity with God. Jesus saved us from separation from God, now and when we leave this earth. We can have confidence in Jesus Christ because He loved us and He gave His life for us.

1) Why You Can Have Confidence in Jesus Christ?

Jesus always has our best interests at heart, and He came to give us life. In John 10:10 He says:

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
John 10:10

His desire is that we will live a life full of God’s abundance and joy 🕊️.

When you are a child of God through a relationship with Jesus, you have access to God’s promises.

why have confidence in the lord

2 Corinthians 1:20 tells us,

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him, the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
2 Corinthians 1:20

Because of Jesus Christ, we don’t have to suffer God’s wrath at the end of our lives 😌.

He has given us salvation and we have the confidence of seeing God when we get to heaven. Jesus is the way to the Father, and when you know Him, you know the Father too.

"For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."
1 Thessalonians 5:9

2) 5 Bible Verses About Confidence in Jesus

1) “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Romans 5:1

Romans 5:1

Our faith comes from Jesus Christ, and by believing in Him and accepting His sacrifice for our sins, we have peace with God. We receive God’s mercy instead of His judgment when we sin. God is not out to punish us when we sin, instead, He forgives us and cleanses us from our unrighteousness 🤗.

2) “So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?’”
Hebrews 13:6

Hebrews 13:6

Jesus helps us when we are in trouble and need help. He is an ever-present help in our time of need. Because of this, we can have confidence that our lives are safe in His hands 🤲🏻, and we should not be afraid. We shouldn’t give in to the fear of man because with the Lord on our side, we have the victory.

3) “In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”
Ephesians 1:7

Ephesians 1:7

God’s gift of salvation is by His grace. When we accept Christ as Lord and Savior, He forgives our sins, and we are no longer guilty. Jesus’ blood redeemed us from slavery to sin, and we have freedom instead of bondage. Jesus also sent the Holy Spirit to help us obey God’s commands and to keep us away from sin. His Spirit works in us to transform our hearts and help us live righteous lives 😇.

4) “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
1 John 4:4

1 John 4:4

Jesus put His Spirit in us when we accepted Him as Lord and Savior, and we can overcome the evil in the world. The Spirit of God is greater than the spirit of the devil that rules the world. We don’t have to fall victim to false prophets and teachers because the Spirit of God will alert us.

5) “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”
Luke 10:19

Luke 10:19

Jesus knew that we have an enemy who longs to destroy us and stop us from reaching our destiny. That is why He gave us authority over the power of the enemy so that we can overcome his plans and schemes. Jesus has equipped us to succeed in life and deal with the enemy’s attacks 👊🏻. He promises that nothing will harm us, and this is comforting to our hearts.

As I am reading your reflexion on how God talks to us, I agree with you on all you have said. God loves us and wants to talk to us , but we are too noisy; and when we pray, we are in rush to finish. When reading the Bible, we are surrounded by so much noise from inside out. It is ok to pray aloud when we are having corporate prayer sessions. But you can hear God when you seek him by yourself and alone. The first thing is faith: Believe that he is there watching you, listening to you even though you cannot see him. God is faithful- when he says "Seek me and you will find me if you seek me with all your heart,. In 2015, I made up my mind to read the Bible and pray-early in the morning around 4:00 am-5:30 am. I cannot remember when the Spirit got involved and guided me through, but after four to six or seven months, I suddenly found myself doing Bible reading and praying and meditating earlier and earlier, to the point the Holy Spirit would get me up around 1:00am or later before 4:00 am. So now, after seven years, I have finshed the whole Bible. Now scriptures come to me through my heart not from memory any more; somtimes I see some verses in vision a screen like TV set or computer monitor, often in day times or at night times – not in dreams. I can assure you that Jesus has appeared to me in vision 4 times: in 2014, as the Son of God- no human standards can measure or describe what I saw; in 2020 as the shepherd on his way to Jerusalem on Good Friday; in 2018 as the Teacher -he gave me the Sword of the Spirit -the Bible -by his own hands’ could see his hands holding the Bible but his face was hidden from me; in 2017 as the bright Morning Star-that night He saved my life from seven demons who came to attack me but all failed one after the other as I was calling the name Jesus, Jesus; and in the end Satan himslef appeared but got mad with them and they all quickly disappeared in the air. The Morning Star was so bright that they could not hide themselves. I could see any slight move of any of them. As I am writing this message, I feel like experiencing it live again.
