What does Deuteronomy 1:11 Mean?

Deuteronomy 1:11 says, "May the Lord, the God of your fathers, make you a thousand times as many as you are and bless you, as he has promised you!"

In this verse, Moses is praying for the continued blessing and increase of the Israelites. He is asking God to fulfill His promise to make the Israelites as numerous as the stars in the sky and to bless them abundantly.
