What does Deuteronomy 1:25 Mean?

Deuteronomy 1:25 states, "They took some of the fruit of the land in their hands and carried it down to us, and they brought us back a report and said, ‘It is a good land that the Lord our God is giving us.’" This verse continues the story of the twelve representatives Moses had sent to explore the land of Canaan before the Israelites entered it.
