bible verses for non christians

Sharing the Gospel with a friend...It begins in the same way Jesus did with us... By loving! Jesus loved us. He did not give us religious teaching. He offered Himself.

And this is also the best thing we can do to share the message of the Gospel.

By sharing, by loving, by helping, by accompanying, you will reveal the love of Christ to those around you.

Here 4 Bible verses you can share with friends:

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

John 10:9-10
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

10 Bible friendships you can learn from

friendship in the bible

Jonathan and David: A Loyal Friendship

Jonathan and David's friendship is a fine example of sacrifice and loyalty. Jonathan protected David from those who would harm him, and then returned to serve with his father. He said goodbye to David, "May the LORD be between me and you forever, and between my seed and your seed. "1 Samuel 20:42. After Jonathan's death, David will take Jonathan's crippled son as one of his own. (2 Samuel 9) He will also take Jonathan's crippled son as one of his own.

Elijah and Elisha: A Friendship that Edifies

When Elijah was preparing to go to Bethel, he ordered Elisha, his servant, not to go with him. Elisha replied, "I will not leave you," and he said, "I will not leave you. (2 Kings 2:2) He knew what would happen, but he went with him anyway. As they talked like two old friends, "a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated them from one another, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind" (2 Kings 2:9-12).

Paul and Timothy: A Friendship at the Service of the Gospel

(1 Corinthians 4:17) Paul was Timothy's mentor and regarded him as his "beloved child. (1 Corinthians 4:17) Together, the two friends were determined to spread the gospel. God calls us to seek God's wisdom and then to pass it on. God spreads his gospel through the way we live and through our friendships.

Ruth and Naomi: A Faithful Friendship

Naomi first lost her husband and then her two sons over the next 10 years (Ruth 1:3-5). (Ruth 1:3-5) As she decided to leave her homeland, she asked her daughters-in-law to return to their mother's house, but "Ruth clung to her. (Ruth 1:14) This friendship demonstrates God's faithfulness to those who are committed to serving others.

Mark and Paul: A Friendship that Offers Trust

The friendship of Mark and Paul teaches us never to exclude someone as a friend. Paul and Barnabas, who had been good friends, split up because of their disagreement over Mark's character. Mark would later join the group of friends guided by Christ and be "useful for ministry" (2 Timothy 4:11). Christ never excludes us. Even if some friendships turn out to be quick and fleeting, they can have a wonderful impact on our lives.

Jesus and John: A Faithful Friendship to the Point of Death

John, one of the disciples, the one whom Jesus loved, was lying on Jesus' bosom" (John 13:23). (John 13:23) He proclaimed himself to be the favorite of the Twelve. John is the only one of the twelve disciples who remained at the foot of the cross. Loyalty and trust are important factors in friendship. The more trustworthy we are, the more people will trust us.

Moses and Aaron: A friendship for a vision

(Exodus 4:2-9) God worked three miracles to overcome Moses' fear of speaking before Pharaoh. (Exodus 4:2-9) But he asked God to send someone else to do so, and God sent Aaron. (Exodus 4:14) Moses and Aaron confronted Pharaoh and eventually led their people out of Egypt. God gives us friends to help us do what we think is impossible because of fear. Two friends who walk in faith are not necessarily perfect but they are almost invincible.

Abraham and Lot: A Friendship that Helps

At the fall of Sodom and Gomorrah, the four kings seized all their possessions and Lot, Abraham's nephew (Genesis 14:11-12). (Genesis 14:14-16) Abraham's reaction was to act to save his nephew. (Genesis 14:14-16) Abraham put his life on the line for Lot to restore his friend's freedom. What a beautiful example of selfless and sacrificial love!

Paul, Philemon, and Onesimus: Friendship for Reconciliation

Onesimus was Philemon's slave who had run away after stealing him. (Philemon 1:12) Onesimus will meet Paul and the two will become close friends. (Philemon 1:12) Paul wrote a letter to Philemon in favor of Onesimus (Philemon 1:18) and then sent it back to Philemon. Instead of selfishly looking at what our friends can do for us, likewise, seek to know the purpose for which God has placed them near us.

Jesus and you: A friendship that gives everything
