How to memorize Bible verses?
Memorizing Bible verses is a good way to make sure you are prepared for God's word. For example, you can recite a verse about God's love when you are serving a friend, or remember a verse about patience if you have to wait somewhere.
If you spend a little time working on memorization every day, it will be much easier for you to remember the word of God when you need it.
3 Ways to Remember Bible Verses:
1) Spend 10 to 15 minutes a day memorizing a Bible verse. It will be much more difficult to memorize Bible verses if you try to do so sporadically. Like any other habit, it is most effective when you spend a little time on it each day.
However, it is not necessary to spend a lot of time memorizing it. Just spend about 10 to 15 minutes a day reading and memorizing the Scriptures. When you find a verse that you want to memorize, read it several times.
2) Then think about the actual meaning of the verse. It will be much easier to memorize a verse if you understand it, so take your time to really understand the concepts explained in the verse.
3) To anchor the words in your memory, say the verse out loud 3-4 times . Hearing yourself say the words out loud will help you remember the verse when you don't have it in front of you.
If you feel you need some more structure to help memorize bible verses, you might want to try studying with bible verse memory cards or study books.

I liked this post however it is not much use if the verses aren’t available except by opening the webpage on a computer or device, it would be far more useful if the list can be printed so the reader doesn’t need to keep coming back to it. I wanted to print it out for when I go on a wilderness hike and found I couldn’t copy it to a printable file.
