What Does Romans 12:10 Mean?
‘Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.’ NIV
We live in world awash with inspirational quotes, many of them the
utterances of celebrities, and they all tell us about how to be a
success, how to be ‘the best version of ourselves’. How different from
these egocentric exhortations is the instruction of Saint Paul to the
Romans. He talks about the necessity of loving our fellow human
beings and not just loving them but honoring them above ourselves.

to be a successful person. Just imagine for a minute what kind of
world it would be if we all loved one another and that other people
were more important to us than ourselves. What do you think?
